Her primary research interests include Latin American Indigenous peoples and Indigenous movements, gender history, and history of religion. Her major publications include The Revival of Cosmovision: The History of Indigenous Resistance and the Culture of Coexistence in Latin America, Reading Ecology (co-authored), and The Ecological Crisis in Latin America and Buen Vivir (co-authored). She has also translated or co-translated numerous works, including The Past Is Alive: An Environmental History of Latin America (co-translated), The Mesoamerican Cosmovision Tradition: Cosmos and the Sacred, The Mesoamerican Cosmovision Tradition: Gods and Humans, Mosquito Empires, and The Plague of Sheep. |
