중국고전문학 전공자로서 명대(明代) 중·후기 시문(詩文)을 주요 대상으로 문인 계층의 문화 향유 양상과 심미 취향을 탐색한다. 명대 문학의 발전과 변화에서 이전
시대 문학의 수용 및 후대 문학에 대한 영향을 살핀다. 문인의 문화 활동 가운데 특히 제화시(題畵詩) 및 문인화에 주목하여, 시·서·화의 결합으로 문학과 시각 예술이 조응하는 현상을 연구하고 있다.

As a specialist in classical Chinese literature, LEE Juhyun focuses on
the poetry and prose of the mid-to-late Ming dynasty, exploring the cultural
engagement and aesthetic preferences of the literati class. Her research
examines the development and transformation of Ming literature, with a focus on
the reception of earlier literary traditions and their influence on later
works. She also pays special attention to Chinese tihuashi (literature,
specifically poetry, written about paintings) and wenrenhua (literati
painting), analyzing how poetry, calligraphy, and painting are integrated to
illuminate the dynamic interplay between literature and visual art.
