주된 연구분야는 로마 공화정 말기에서 아우구스투스 시대까지의 문학이며, 이 시기의 문학 작품이 문화적 기억의 구성에서 정치, 지성사, 예술, 건축과 같은 다양한 영역과 관계하며 만들어내는 의미를 해석하는 작업에 관심을 두고 있다. 주요 논문으로는 「베르길리우스의 장소의 시학: 『아이네이스』  8권의 독해」 (『서양고전학연구』, 60권2호, 2021), 「카툴루스의 시에서 여행과 제국」 (『서양고전학연구』, 63권1호, 2024)이 있다.


My primary field of research is Latin literature in the late Roman Republic and the Augustan age. I focus on the ways in which literary texts from this period participate in the construction of cultural memory, particularly through their interplay with diverse domains such as politics, intellectual history, art, and architecture. Major publications include “Virgil's Poetics of Place: A Reading of the Aeneid, Book 8” (Journal of Greco-Roman Studies, Vol. 60, No. 2, 2021) and “Journey and Empire in Catullus” (Journal of Greco-Roman Studies, Vol. 63, No. 1, 2024).
