The Humanities Center of Unified Korea Cooperation was established in September 2013 to explore the tasks of the humanities in preparing for a unified Korea and to conduct the foundational research.
As a research center under the Institute of Humanities, which aims to be a hub of civilization research, reinterpreting civilizations from all places and ages, and works to draw a blueprint for the future of Korean humanities, the mission of the Humanities Center of Unified Korea Cooperation is to imagine a unified future from the perspective of the humanities in the context of a globalized Northeast Asia in the 21st century.
